QUALITY POLICY

Island Overseas Transport Corporation shall only deploy able-bodied, competent and qualified seafarers compliant with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements as well as the requirements of its shipping principals through the observance of the highest standards of service, a positive work ethic and collegial wisdom.

 

To achieve this, Island Overseas Transport Corporation shall commit to:

 

•    Maintain and continuously develop a Quality Management System consistent with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015;

 

•    Maintain its license valid at all times and good standing with POEA;

 

•    Enforce the No Collection Policy. No fees shall be collected from the seafarers for their recruitment or placement for employment;

 

•    Act in accordance with maritime conventions and laws and in particular comply with the requirements of Maritime Labor Convention 2006.
